Legumes in the UA Campus Arboretum

The first of DELEP's seed collections were made from cultivated legumes on the UA campus in 1988. Since then DELEP has provided many trees and shrubs for the UA campus, and today over 20% of the accessions in the UA Campus Arboretum are legumes.

In 2021, some of the trees from DELEP's decommissioned field at the UA West Campus Agricultural Center were boxed and transplanted to an area south of the Gould-Simpson Building on the UA campus.
