Interested in Joining the (Kurc) Papuga Lab?

Please feel free to contact Dr. (Kurc) Papuga (kurc@ag.arizona.edu) or any lab member if you are interested in our lab group. This group takes a holistic approach to your education in natural resources and environmental science. Upon joining the lab group, you will begin to develop a proposal for your research program and formally propose your work to your committee within your second semester. Your research trajectory will be designed to result in at least one peer-reviewed publication. We have weekly individual meetings that you will be expected to attend. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in weekly lab meetings which emphasize practical experience such as scientific writing, public speaking, and critically thinking about the science of others. You are expected to learn about the research of your peers in your lab group through participation in their field activities as well as attending weekly meetings. Extra-curricular activities that compliment your professional aspirations are encouraged.
