Thesis: Using Existing Agricultural Infrastructure for Restoration Practices: Factors Influencing Successful Establishment of Cottonwood over Saltcedar

Career Objectives: Water is a precious and limited resource; I would like to contribute to innovative and advanced research that will allow us to provide resources to a sustainable economy while still enhancing our wildlife for the future. I aspire to be an asset to a well-rounded environmental consulting company or play my hand in the government focusing on conservation issues at the state or federal level.

Thesis: Spatial and Temporal Patterns of Carbon and Water Flux in Dryland Ecosystems

Career Objectives: I would like to continue to work in an academic research setting to address questions related to the detection of ecohydrological processes in complex terrain. This includes field measurements as well as model approaches and data assimilation to quantify hydrological fluxes in upland environments, which are generally source areas for municipal water supplies as well as regions of critical ecosystem function.
