Today President Shelton announced that employee furloughs will NOT be necessary this year. The provisions by President Obama and the securing of the federal stimulus funds by Governor Brewer enabled the UA to avoid the anticipated furloughs.
The Turf Work Group will be meeting on next Wednesday, September 16, 1:00-3:30pm at the Karsten Turf Building. Refreshments will be available. The agenda will cover several items based on the June 22 meeting along with new events. If you plan to attend the meeting, email Dave Kopec (dkopec@cals.arizona.edu).
