Tuesday Morning Notes

April 7,2009

CALS FACULTY/STAFF MEETING:

The CALS Faculty/Staff meeting last Thursday, April 2 went very well with several awards presented to outstanding staff, faculty and researchers. In particular, I'd like to note the team Outstanding Team Award given to Steve Husman and the Tucson Area Ag Center staff. Steve has been extremely supportive of our Extension programs on the north campus ag center. Congratulations to all winners!

FOCUS ON FACULTY:

Melvina Adolf officially resigned April 5 from Cooperative Extension. We appreciate the many good programs she initiated in Greenlee County. We will keep the office open and some programs going. At this time, we are filling no faculty positions.

REVISED PUBLICATIONS:

The American Hornet Moth in the Urban Forests of Northern Arizona Above 6000 Foot Elevations (cals .arizona.edu/pubs/insects/az1284.pdf) by Tom DeGomez.
