Locating Grants

When You Start Looking

  • Look for grants to support an existing idea or program; do not try to come up with ideas or programs that fit a specific grant.
  • Do your research. Be sure that your proposal matches the needs and wants of the funding agency or organization. Carefully research an agency or organization prior to submitting a proposal.
