Farm Experience
The Arizona National Livestock Show coordinates a Farm Experience area for students and the general public. This interactive area lets children experience agriculture through hands-on activities. Contact Arizona National at (602) 258-8568 about arranging a visit for your students during the Arizona National Livestock Show held annually at the Arizona State Fairgrounds. Arizona Agriculture Day
Join the agriculture community at Heritage Square in Phoenix as we celebrate the diversity of products grown in Arizona. Visit the exhibits and enjoy a one dollar lunch. Contact Monica Pastor at (602)470-8086, ext. 317 or mpastor@ag.arizona.edu for information on AG Day.
Arizona Envirothon
This is North America's largest high school natural resources competition. It combines in-class curriculum with hands-on field experiences, while demonstrating the role people have in important natural resources issues such as forestry, wildlife management, water quality and soil erosion. The five-member team must express a commitment to participate in the statewide competition by December 1 each year. At the completion of the learning process, the Envirothon conducts a series of competitions. This is a year-long learning process which culminates in the statewide competition. National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference
