- Course: A ED 497G/597G, Instructional Advances in Career and Technical Education (1-3 units)
- Distance Learning – Attend the Summer Agricultural Institute from June 15, 2009 – June 19, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Details: In order to earn 1 unit, the participant must attend the Ag Institute. In order to earn 2 or 3 units, the participant must attend the course and complete an outside project. The participant will submit a proposal on how he or she will use the information. Participant will send Dr. Jim Knight (email is fine) a one-page listing of ideas with time lines. The participant will also indicate how he or she will create the curriculum, PowerPoints, instructional material, etc. The class and assignments should be products that participant will use. Creativity is encouraged.
Summer Session II – July 13, 2009- August 13, 2009
- Course: A ED 497G/597G, Instructional Advances in Career and Technical Education (1 unit)
- Distance Learning – Attend the AZ Career and Technical Education Summer Conference in Tucson, AZ.
- Details: In order to earn 1 unit, the participant must attend the Agricultural Education components of the Summer Conference.
- Course: AGTM 330, Turf and Landscape Technology (3 units)
